I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project with my brother during the first lockdown. He decided to turn his garage into a bar, named The Doghouse, and wanted to create an arcade cabinet to play retro fighting games, just like we used to enjoy as kids. His favourite of all these classic video games was Street Fighter!

My brother asked me to create some unique artwork to wrap his new arcade cabinet and help configure a Raspberry Pi, loaded with RetroPie, with a Street Fighter interface to match.

I researched what other people had done and experimented with a few concepts before finalizing the design. Then, together, we built the cabinet, and after some hard work and determination, we completed the project just in time for Christmas. The result was a beautiful and functional arcade cabinet that the entire family could enjoy, complete with retro artwork and a user-friendly interface. It was a fantastic experience to work on this project with my brother and see the final outcome that we created together. Now jump on player 2; I'm choosing Ken!
