Compositing
Photoshop has always been my go-to program since I was first introduced to Adobe's software suite with version 5.5. As a creative professional, it is essential to stay up to date with the latest features and constantly improve your skills to stay ahead of the curve. Whilst I have mainly used Photoshop for tasks such as enhancing images, adding striking skies for that perfect holiday feeling, and designing mock-ups to showcase my concepts to clients, the software's potential for compositing has always intrigued me.
During the lockdown, I took the opportunity to delve into this fascinating field of image manipulation. By combining multiple images, I could create stunning visuals that had previously only existed in my mind's eye. To hone my skills, I sourced high-quality images from platforms like Unsplashed.com and experimented with various compositing techniques, dedicating a day or two to each project. This process allowed me to expand my skill set and gave me the freedom to unleash my creativity in new and exciting ways.
